COACH MENTORING PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Just as players are constantly evolving, so too must coaches to ensure they stay at the top of their game. This program has been meticulously designed to foster continuous growth and development for coaches, helping them sharpen their skills and enhance their effectiveness both on and off the ice.

By participating, coaches will gain direct access to Mike Henderson, a seasoned expert with years of mentoring experience, throughout the entire season. They’ll receive personalized, actionable advice tailored to their specific needs and team dynamics. This isn’t just a one-time consultation—Mike will provide ongoing guidance, equipping coaches with effective practice plans grounded in detailed game film analysis. Through this program, coaches will learn how to consistently improve their approach, make data-driven decisions, and position both themselves and their teams for sustained success.

Whether it's refining in-game strategies or optimizing practice sessions, this program will provide coaches with the tools to elevate their performance, ultimately helping their teams reach new heights.

• 10 video submissions to Mike for review and editing using Motion Pro Video Analysis.
• 10 virtual meetings between Mike and the coach, breaking down each shift in detail.
   

• Mike will attend 5 team games throughout the season, recording video to analyze every shift.
• Videos will be reviewed in a classroom setting, where Mike will provide in-depth feedback to the coach.

• After each face-to-face mentoring session, Mike Henderson will lead a high-tempo team development session.
• Coaches will join Mike on the ice, assisting throughout the practice.
• Sessions will be tailored to game film analysis, team tendencies, and feedback from the coaches.
• Focus areas include Team Skills Development, Team Systems, Power Play, and Penalty Kill.

• Mike will create 10 practice plans throughout the season, each featuring high-tempo flow drills, systems, and skating exercises.
   
• These practice plans will be reviewed virtually to ensure drills are run efficiently, with strategies for correcting players effectively without wasting valuable ice time.
