Meet Coach Mike Henderson
Mike Henderson is a highly regarded certified professional coach and mentor with 18 years of experience in player development and coaching at all levels. His global coaching career has seen him work with players across the world, applying his distinctive and effective teaching methods to improve both skill development and performance. Mike’s expertise extends to coaching elite athletes, including 38 skill development sessions with the New York Rangers (NHL) and 35 with the New Jersey Devils (NHL). He has also collaborated with various MGHL, Junior A, AA, and AAA teams.
A former professional hockey player, Mike’s career took him to the USA, Europe, and Japan. He attended the Dallas Stars (NHL) Training Camp and earned a Division 1 hockey scholarship to Lake Superior State University. After two seasons, he joined the Ontario Hockey League’s Barrie Colts, where he won an OHL Championship and competed in the Memorial Cup.
